<p>A method and a system for controlling a network entry of a portable Internet terminal are provided to effectively control the network entry of the terminal to use system resources and processing time, which are wasted for processing a network entry request of an illegal user, for a legal user, thereby offering a smooth network entry service. An entry request to a portable Internet network is received from a portable Internet terminal(201). It is determined whether the terminal is allowed to enter a network by responding to the network entry request(202). If not, a network entry disapproval message in accordance with an entry disapproval type of the terminal is generated, and the generated message is transmitted to the terminal so that the terminal sets network entry rules(203,212,213).</p> |
