<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithium ion secondary battery showing superior charge and discharge characteristics and cycle characteristics, and a manufacturing method of a lithium complex oxide with high mass-producibility suitable for the same. <P>SOLUTION: A lithium complex oxide is used which has a crystal structure of cubic spinel structure, of which composition is expressed by a general formula Li<SB>1+x</SB>(Ni<SB>0.5-y</SB>Mn<SB>1.5+y-z</SB>M<SB>z</SB>)<SB>1-x</SB>O4-α (provided that M is at least one kind selected outof Mg, Al, Si, Ti, Zn, V, and Zr, x, y are 0≤x≤0.2, -0.05≤y≤0.05, 0≤z≤0.2, 0≤α≤0.04), and in which oxygen deficient amount is 1 mol% or less, and the lattice constant is 8.178 Angstrom or less. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
