PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grounding structure of an optical filter in a PDP which facilitates and ensures grounding of the optical filter arranged in a display part of the PDP, and improves visibility and reliability in the display part, and further which does not require a process using a copper tape, and can improve productivity and reduce production costs. SOLUTION: This invention relates to the grounding structure of the optical filter 21 arranged on the top of the image display part of the PDP, and is characterized in that the image display part 1 and the optical filter 21 are fixed to a case 6 by using a ground electrode 22 of a fold part 42 into which one end part 41a of a rectangular metal plate 41 is sigmoidally folded in cross section, holding the end part of the optical filter 21 by the U-shaped cross sectional part of this fold part 42, and pressing both of the image display part 1 and the case 6 by the elasticity of this fold part 42.
