摘要	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To safely and securely prevent a fixation defect under simple control. SOLUTION: This printer 1 includes a fixing roller 2, a paper-passage-region noncontact thermistor 5, a non-paper-passage-region contact thermistor 6, a first heater control means 503 for performing control to supply electric power to a fixing heater 3 when detected temperature of the paper-passage-region noncontact thermistor 5 is lower than print control temperature and stop supplying the electric power to the fixing heater 3 when the detected temperature is higher than the print control temperature, and a second heater control means for performing power supply control to forcibly heat the fixing heater 3 at a specified duty ratio when detected temperature of the non-paper-passage region contact thermistor 6 drops although the detected temperature of the paper-passage-region noncontact thermistor 5 is higher than the print control temperature.
