<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide health control equipment for detecting the pressure change to bedclothes while a sleeping person breathes by optical fibers bedded between the upside of the bedclothes and his or her body, and to quickly and easily measure sleep apnea. <P>SOLUTION: This sensor measures the change of transmission signal light or reflective light generated by excess loss caused from side pressure applied to optical fibers.
