<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique effective for control housing of a seat belt without a sense of incongruity in a constitution for housing a seat belt restraining occupants and mounted to a vehicle by driving an electric motor. <P>SOLUTION: This seat belt retractor 1 of a seat belt device 100 mounted to a vehicle drives a motor in such a manner that a spool is actuated to take up the seat belt in a control of housing the seat belt. When a seat belt load acting on the seat belt 3 during driving reaches a preset load, one or more controls for temporarily stopping the driving are performed, and then control for housing the seat belt is completed. Also, when the control for housing the seat belt is completed, the completion of the control for housing the seat belt is informed to occupants of the vehicle by an action of taking up the seat belt 3 with a spool. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
