FUNCTIONAL SHEET AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a functional sheet free from deformation constituted by forming a functional layer having high flatness on the surface of a base material, and its manufacturing method.

SOLUTION: The functional sheet 10 is manufactured by a method wherein coating containing functional particles is dried on the surface of the base material to manufacture a before-compression functional sheet 10' which is constituted so that a before-compression functional sheet is formed on the surface of the base material and the before-compression functional sheet is held between a metallic hot roller 21 and a rubber roller 22 and pressed by rotating these rollers 21 and 22. The rubber roller comes into contact with the surface. The metallic hot roller is brought into contact with the surface of the before-compression functional layer while the rubber roller is brought into contact with the back of the base material and the before-compression functional layer is held between these rollers to be compressed. The Shore D hardness of the rubber roller is within a range of 86-90. The surface of the before-compression functional layer is pressed under a linear pressure of 250 kgf/cm or above. The before-compression functional layer is heated at a temperature exceeding 100°C by the metallic hot roller.
