PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide quake-absorbing equipment and a quake-absorbing structure using the quake-absorbing equipment capable of exhibiting an enhanced quake-absorbing effect with respect to a supported body by a simple structure. SOLUTION: This quake-absorbing equipment is provided with a lower member including a lower flange fixed to a supporting body and a bearing arranged in a position separated from the lower flange, an upper member including an upper flange fixed to the supported body and a bearing arranged in a position separated from the upper flange, and a regulating member interposed between the upper member and the lower member. The upper member and the lower member are connected to each other like a chain so that the bearing of the upper member is arranged between the lower flange and the bearing of the lower member, and the end of the regulating member is pivotally coupled between the lower flange and the bearing part of the lower member, and the other end of the regulating member is pivotally coupled between the upper flange and the bearing part of the upper member.
