PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a bad influence of feeding of a paper sheet covered with dust because of stacking for a long time in regard to a printer capable of stacking recording paper sheets, while exposing them outside. SOLUTION: A determination whether the paper sheets have been stacked for a long time or not is done on the basis of the printing date information and information from a paper existence sensor, and in the case wherein the paper sheets have been stacked for a long time, an alarm message is displayed.
