<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an IC card having an image receiving layer which can form image information with gradation information of high image quality on its surface and having strongly protected gradation information with high image quality and which can record the gradation information at high speed and with high image quality on its surface. <P>SOLUTION: The IC card contains ICs mounted thereto formed by pasting together at least two sheets of base bodies 1. At least the upper base body is provided with the image receiving layer 2 for receiving a sublimation or thermal diffusion dye image by means of a thermal transfer recording method. Between the upper and lower base bodies an intermediate layer having ICs is provided, and a cushion layer 3 is provided both between the receiving image layer and the upper base body and the upper base body having the receiving image layer and the intermediate layer having the ICs, in the order of the receiving layer/cushion layer/base body/cushion layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
