PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing method, for a flexible base, especialy a flexible base of continuous length with excellent production efficiency, which features the excellent reproducibility of a high-definition pattern, and a printing device. SOLUTION: In this printing method for the flexible base 4, first an ink liquid film 3 is applied to the surface of a sheet glass 1 with ink releasability fixed to the surface of a movable stage 20, then the ink liquid film 3 is pre-dried, and a projecting part of a resin anastatic-printing plate 2 fitted to a rotating cylindrical plate cylinder 22, is pressed to the pre-dried ink liquid film 3. Following these procedures, the pre-dried ink liquid film 3 is transferred to the projecting part of the resin anastatic-printing plate 2 and the transferred ink liquid film 3 is transferred to the flexible base 4. Further, the flexible base 4 is inserted into between the resin anastatic-printing plate 2 fitted to the plate cylinder 22 and a cylindrical impression drum 23, and a silicone resin layer is laminated on the surface of the ink-releasable sheet glass 1.
