Provided is a membrane electrode assembly for a fuel cell to minimize the deformation of the porosity of a catalyst layer due to the pressure of a press, thereby improving the catalyst activity of a catalyst layer. The membrane electrode assembly(100) comprises a catalyst layer(10, 20) which is formed at the both sides of a membrane(30); and a mesh member(50) made of a metal material which is installed in the inside of the catalyst layer. Preferably the mesh member comprises a metal wire arranged in a form of net to form a plurality of holes. The thickness of the metal wire is 1/2 of the thickness of the catalyst layer; and the metal wire is made of gold or silver. |
