A method and a device for predicting regulatory relationship of multiple transcription factors are provided to obtain a correct result similar to a gene regulation mode in an actual cell by predicting sets of the transcription factors regulating expression of genes based on the gene expression profile data obtained from a micro-array experiment. A data divider(33) divides the gene expression profile data into the expression profile data of the gene expressing the transcription factor and a target gene. A clustering part(34) clusters all combinable pairs of the transcription factors and the target genes. An interval graphic generator(35) represents a clustering result in a graph. An optimizer(36) calculates a partial set of the optimal transcription factors occupying the biggest expression segment of the target gene with the smallest number of transcription factors. The clustering part includes a matrix generator calculating a regulatory relationship level of all combinable gene pairs and finding a corresponding matrix, and a selector selecting the gene pair having a value over a threshold value. |
