An apparatus for preventing a fingerprint from being marked on a touch screen of an audio/video system for a vehicle is provided to position a film layer onto the surface of the screen when a user's finger approaches the screen. An apparatus for preventing a fingerprint from being marked on a touch screen of an audio/video system for a vehicle includes a sensor, a controller, first and second rollers(50,60), a transparent film(70), and a film guider(80). The sensor detects approach of a user and outputs a detection signal. The controller outputs a motor control signal in response to the detection signal. The first and second rollers are installed on and under the touch screen. The transparent film is wound on the first and second rollers. The film guider is installed at both ends of the transparent film to guide movement of the transparent film.
