A method for controlling an ABS(Anti-lock Brake System) of a vehicle is provided to properly control the braking force on a side having a large frictional coefficient according to the driving ability of a driver. A method for controlling an ABS of a vehicle includes the steps of: detecting a compensation steering angle by a driver through a steering angle sensor during ABS control on a split road having different frictional coefficients on both wheels(102); calculating the braking force for maintaining the straightness of the vehicle with respect to the wheel on the side having a larger frictional coefficient on the basis of the detected compensation steering angle(103); and braking the wheel on the side having the larger frictional coefficient on the basis of the calculated braking force(104).
