PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize the fitting of a cap to an applicator body with a fitting sound and the sure and air-tight sealing between the cap and the applicator body at fitting. SOLUTION: This fitting structure is so constituted as to emit a fitting sound at the installation of a cap 7 to an applicator body 1. In this case, an annular engaging projecting part 8 is provided on the inner surface of the cap 7. On a mounting part 5, a projecting part to be engaged 10, which is peripherally continuous so as to engage with the annular engaging projecting part 8, is provided. The outer diameter of the tip part ahead of the projecting part to be engaged 10 in the mounting part 5 is set to be smaller than the inner diameter of the annular engaging projecting part 8. In addition, the outer diameter d3 of a basic part 14 is set to be smaller than the outer peripheral diameter D2 of the cap 7 and larger than the inner diameter D1 of the annular engaging projecting part 8. Air tightness is ensured during the period ranging from the start of the fitting of the annular engaging projecting part 8 to the mounting part 5 to its finish. At the finish of the cap 7, the annular engaging projecting part 8 of the cap comes into close contact with the basic part side peripheral surface of the mounting part 5. |
