A transmitting/receiving apparatus of a wide band wireless channel measuring apparatus using a multiple carrier is provided to increase and decrease a measurement frequency bandwidth by measuring a wireless channel in a frequency area. A transmitting/receiving apparatus of a wide band wireless channel measuring apparatus using a multiple carrier includes a serial-to-parallel converting unit, an inverse fast Fourier transforming unit, a cyclic prefix inserting unit, and a serial/parallel converting unit. The serial-to-parallel converting unit converts a measurement signal to a discontinuous parallel signal. The inverse fast Fourier transforming unit transforms the converted parallel signal to a modulated transmitting signal through the multiple carrier over a measurement band. The cyclic prefix inserting unit inserts a cyclic prefix into the converted transmitting signal. The serial/parallel converting unit converts the transmitting signal with the cyclic prefix into a continuous serial signal at a time axis.
