A motor control booster system for a hybrid vehicle and a control method thereof are provided to improve an efficiency of the system by switching a voltage applied to an inverter according to a high or low operation mode through a hybrid control unit. A TPS(Throttle Position Sensor) and an APS(Accelerator Pedal Sensor) detect information on a state of a vehicle. A high-voltage booster converter(11a) having an output terminal S1 boosts an output voltage of a battery(10) to supply a voltage to an inverter(13). A low-voltage booster converter(11b) having an output terminal S2 boosts the output voltage of the battery to supply a voltage to the inverter. A hybrid control unit receives the detected signals from the TPS and the APS. In case a TPS value is above a constant threshold voltage value, when a vehicular speed is above a reference speed, the output terminal S1 is turned on and the output terminal S2 is turned off, and when a vehicular speed is below the reference speed, the output terminal S2 is turned on and the output terminal S1 is turned off. |
