PORTABLE MULITMEDIA PLAYER INCLUDING WIRELESS COMMUNICATION FUNCTION AND METHOD OF USING THEREOF

A portable multimedia player with a wireless communication function and a usage method of the player are provided to access a wireless network, in order that a user can directly download desired multimedia contents even without using another external apparatus. A controller(140) conducts control by generating a control signal for a function selected by a user through an input unit. A wireless communication unit(110) accesses a wireless network(200) according to the control signal, and downloads multimedia contents and additional information equivalent to the multimedia contents from a server(300). An output unit(160) outputs data transceived with the server(300), and outputs different additional information according to each time when the multimedia contents are reproduced.
