<p>The bicycle brakes (2) are operated by hydraulic servo elements (10) linked to a closed hydraulic system (12, 12, 14). The two brake pad circuits are lined by a manifold, or tee piece (13). The brake lever (19) operates on the master hydraulic cylinder mounted inside the brake lever. This comprises a bellows type of arrangement which is compressed by the brake lever. The whole hydraulic system is a closed circuit to provide a simple, economic design which can be used for a bicycle or moped, and which is simple to repair.</p> |
