A context-awareness service system and method are provided to discover a context-awareness service most suitable for the current state or circumferences of a user and provide it to the user by generating a search query based on user state information. A service storage unit(230) stores service contents. A search query managing unit(244) generates a search query for searching service contents corresponding to state information received from a mobile terminal. A search managing unit(242) searches service contents matched with the search query among the service contents stored in the service storage unit(230). A situation information managing unit(220) re-configures the searched service contents in a service format supported by the mobile terminal. A service controller(210) transmits the re-configured service contents to the mobile terminal.
