<p>Appts. for deep drawing plastic sheets by vacuum forming, to give a rigid moulding that is subsequently bonded to a foam layer, has a stretching frame for holding the heated sheet, and a moulding pattern for shaping the heated sheet. Parts of the frame can be displaced relative to the other parts, either away from each other from a position depending on the lifting position of the pattern, or towards each other and away from the longitudinal central axis of the pattern. Appts. enables very deep, thin parts to be produced by deep drawing. The drawing operation is accurately controlled, and overdrawing of parts of the sheet is avoided.</p> |
