The infusion bottle e.g. for intravenous feeding has a vertical, sliding fastening hook (10) especially a hook fixed to a spring part (5) and a switch (3) is actuated if the fastening hook (10) takes a position at a certain height. Pref. a slide contact (7) which can displace vertically is screwed onto the perpendicular extension (11) of the fastening hook (10). The spring part (5) is a tension spring. The screw (8) used to fasten the slide contact projects from a vertical slot, which in turn is equipped with a graduated scale. Spring elements (5) of varying power can be used according to the weight of the infusion bottle and the switch is a microswitch with lever action.
