An optical transceiver device is provided to utilize a flat-plate type optical element that is sensitive to electromagnetic interference less than an existing optical element packaged by forming a TO-CAN type. An optical transceiver device is composed of a flat-plate type light receiving unit(12) having a flat-plate type light receiving element and converting the input light into a first electric signal; a flat-plate type light emitting unit(11) having a flat-plate type light emitting element and generating the light according to a second input electric signal; and an electric signal processing unit(13) receiving the first electric signal and extracting and outputting the data, and receiving data from the outside, converting the received data into the second electric signal, and then outputting the converted signal.
