APPARATUS FOR COLLECTING DIGITALLY CONVERTED ANALOG SIGNALS USING SERIAL BUS AND METHOD THEREOF

A device and a method for collecting digital conversion data of an analog signal using a serial bus are provided to collect the digital data converted from the monitored analog signals through the serial bus by converting/transmitting the analog signal of the selected address or selecting, converting, and transmitting one of the monitored analog signals with a multiplexer. The multiplexer(311) receives the analog signals and outputs only one analog signal by a control signal. An ADC(Analog/Digital Converter)(313) converts the outputted analog signal into a digital signal. The first controller(315) generates/outputs the control signal to the multiplexer and controls operation of the ADC. A bus controller(319) outputs the digital signal through the serial bus(320). The first controller includes the first address setting part(316) storing a unique address of the device and an activation determiner(317) determining determines whether activation information received through the serial bus is agreed to the unique address of the device. The activation determiner activates the bus controller if the unique address is agreed and deactivates the bus controller if not.
