THE WHITE ORGANIC LIGHT EMITTING DEVICE

A white organic light emitting device is provided to improve efficiency to emit red, green, blue colors by using a phosphor as a light emitting assist layer obtaining a green or red color by energy transition from a light emitting layer. A white organic light emitting device(100) includes a first electrode(120) on a substrate(110). A hole transport layer(140) is formed on the first electrode(120). A light emitting layer(160) is formed on the hole transport layer(140). An electron transport layer(170) is formed on the light emitting layer(160). A light emitting assist layer(150) is formed on at least one of the hole transport layer(140), the light emitting layer(160), and the electron transport layer(170), and emits green or red light by energy transition from the light emitting layer(160).
