A steam boiler and a steam and vacuum cleaner therewith are provided to generate steam efficiently by arranging a screen between a water injection port and a steam discharge port, to assemble and disassemble the screen conveniently by forming a cylinder, a filter net and a separation restricting piece of the screen, and to restrict drop of temperature caused by scattering of water by vaporizing after temporarily staying water in a recessed groove in injecting water, thereby supplying steam stably. A steam boiler includes: a body having a passage(240) linearly arranged, a water injection port and a steam discharge port; a heater(270) embedded in the body; and a screen(280) placed between the water injection port and the steam discharge port. The screen is composed of a cylinder, a filter net mounted in the cylinder, and a separation restricting piece for restricting separation of the filter net. The water injection port is formed in the return portion of the U-shaped heater. A recessed groove is formed in the passage opposed to the water injection port.
