<p>#CMT# #/CMT# The module (1) has a memory assembly (10) comprising a hard disk (11) connected to a link circuit for input of data to be archived from an outer memory space disk (41). A memory synchronization module (14) launches an automatic updating process for updating the memory assembly following the disk (41). The link circuit has an outer interface circuit (28) interfaced with the disk (41), connected to an inner interface circuit (22) and connected in a removable manner to an internal link circuit (12) provided in the assembly. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Used with a computer apparatus e.g. network access server, for archiving computer data e.g. file. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The updating of the memory assembly following the outer memory space disk permits to activate the protection function.
