#CMT# #/CMT# The connecting element (1) has upper and lower bars (8, 9) extending parallely for traversing a thermal insulation joint (5) by prolonging on both sides of the joint for being imbedded in concrete walls (2, 3). The upper and lower bars are connected by a slant connecting crosspiece (11) comprising fixation zones (12, 13) that are fixed to the bars (8, 9), respectively. The fixation zones are separated by the width (l) of the insulation joint, along a direction parallel to the extension direction of the bars, such that the zones are situated outside the insulation joint. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Used in a thermal protector of a construction for connecting concrete walls e.g. outer wall, inner wall, slab, floorboard, face-wall, balcony, acroterion and pavement (claimed). #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The connection element permits to reduce the thermal bridges existing at the junction between slab and face wall, face-wall and balcony, inner wall and outer wall, slab and acroterion, and pavement and acroterion, thus assuring conservation of energy.
