<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To collect ink mist efficiently without complicating the structure of an ink jet head. <P>SOLUTION: An air suction and blowout unit 10 having an air suction opening 15 on one side and an air blowout nozzle 16 on the other side, and provided with a fan 12c for producing an air flow from the air suction opening side to the air blowout nozzle side and a mist filter 17 for capturing ink mist in the air flow produced by the fan is provided between each ink jet heads 3a and 3b while opposing the air suction opening to the gap between the lower surface of the upstream side ink jet head 3a and a paper line from the downstream side, and opposing the air blowout nozzle to the gap between the lower surface of the downstream ink jet head 3b and the paper line from the upstream side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
