<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical connection box capable of achieving workability improvement together when performing compactness and changing optical connector connection. <P>SOLUTION: A fusion splicing tray 23 is directly installed in a body panel 22 of the optical connection box 21. An FO cord wiring optical module 24 pulls in an optical connector of a reverse side of an FO cord performing terminal treatment in a case 28 having an adaptor 27 and is fitted to an adaptor 28 from inside. In addition, the module 24 is installed on a module support plate 31 and arranged upward of the fusion splicing tray 23. The optical module 24 can be rotated by centering a pivot 35. An optical fiber of an introduction side optical cable and a terminal of the FO cord are fusion-connected, and optical wiring of the optical connection box 21 is completed only by being stored in the fusion splicing tray 23. Since the optical module 24 is arranged upward of the fusion splicing tray 23, space saving is achieved and compactness of the optical connection box are achieved, and workability is excellent when changing optical connector connection. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
