PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and inexpensively provide an insect-proofing material enabling high insect-proofing performance to be effectively exerted and suitable to clothing applications. SOLUTION: The insect-proofing material is such that an insect-proofing composition is contained in an olefin resin-based frame body, wherein the insect-proofing composition comprises an ester compound of the formula(1) (wherein, R is H, methyl, methoxy or methoxymethyl; and X and Y are each a chlorine atom, H or methyl) and glycol salicylate in the weight ratio of (1:0.5) to (1:10).
