A computing system (101) comprises a see-through display device (102), a logic subsystem (702), and a storage subsystem (704) storing instructions. When executed by the logic subsystem, the instructions display on the see-through display device a virtual arena (110), a user-controlled avatar (112), and an opponent avatar (114). The virtual arena appears to be integrated within a physical space (104) when the physical space is viewed through the see-through display device. In response to receiving a user input, the instructions may display on the see-through display device an updated user-controlled avatar.
