PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for cutting-off a long plate shape workpiece, which apparatus can reduce the generation and the spatter of chips, and can simplify the structure, and can improve the working efficiency, and can easily change the cutting-off width of the long plate shape workpiece, and can individually change worn rotary cutting blades. SOLUTION: A cutter unit 8 for cutting-off the long plate shape workpiece at a required cutting-off width is provided on a carrying passage between a supply table 5 and a delivery table 7. The cutter unit 8 is composed of a pair of an upper rotary cutter 8A and a lower rotary cutter 8B arranged to be opposed to each other. The respective rotary cutters have a large number of rotary cutting blades 23, 24 arranged in parallel on upper and lower parallel rotary supporting shafts 13 at the interval of the cutting-off width. The respective rotary supporting shafts 13 are connected to a motor 11 via a power transmitting means, and are rotationally driven inward such that the respective rotary cutters draw the long plate shape workpiece T arranged on the supply table 5.
