PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and apparatus for converting a communication protocol so that apparatuses with different communication protocols can communicate with each other. SOLUTION: The present invention is characterized in that different communication protocols are converted into mutually coincident one communication protocol between apparatuses with different communication protocols. The communication protocol converting apparatus comprises: a plurality of apparatuses including different communication protocols and communicating with each other via one bus line; and a converting unit connected to each of the plurality of apparatuses, respectively for downloading a communication protocol through the Internet network or converting data inputted to/outputted from the apparatus of a communication protocol in which a communication protocol conversion card is installed.
