PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing apparatus that enables reliable detection of operational failures. SOLUTION: In a sheet inversion device 2, a communication part 24 receives a communication signal sent by a main part 1; a CPU 21 monitors the communication signal received by the communication part 24, accepts switching to an analyzer mode for communication signal measurement, and when accepting switching to the analyzer mode, determines whether or not the content of the monitored communication signal is the same as trigger conditions stored in advance; and if the content of the communication signal is the same as the trigger conditions stored in advance, a communication part 26 outputs information representing that the content of the communication signal is the same as the trigger conditions stored in advance to a display device 61 connected to the sheet inversion device 2.
