PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding type uniform motion universal joint with an inner ring having a reduced weight without causing lower strength. SOLUTION: Eight guide grooves 1b and eight guide grooves 2b are formed in a cylindrical inner peripheral face 1a of an outer ring 1 and in a spherical outer peripheral face 2a of the inner ring 2, respectively.
