<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem with, for example, a printer, of an electrophotographic system, that a printing speed cannot be enhanced so much in order to perform printing with a high grade image even if a toner restricted in the degree of aggregation to a certain range is used. <P>SOLUTION: The development device has a development section equipped with a developing roller 18 arranged to face a photosensitive drum 11 carrying an electrostatic latent image to develop the electrostatic latent image formed on the photosensitive drum with the toner and a developing blade to form the toner on the developing roller 18 as a thinner layer by coming into contact therewith. The device performs printing by regulating the peripheral speed of the developing roller 18 to a range from 185 mm/sec to 250 mm/sec and using the one-component non-magnetic polymerized toner of ≥0.93 in circularity having initial fluidity of ≥80% and saturated compressibility of ≤35%. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
