<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent any failure to be generated in installing various types of printers in place of a dedicated printer in a system where an application program supposing the dedicated printer is installed. <P>SOLUTION: This printer controller includes a driver module 20 and an application module 30 for controlling the operation of a printer 15, and the driver module 20 refers to a conversion table in which a control parameter corresponding to the printer 15 is associated with a control parameter corresponding to a printer to be converted different from the printer 15 with respect to a predetermined printer control item, and acquires a control parameter corresponding to the printer to be converted corresponding to a printer control item to be output by the application module 30, and converts the control parameter acquired based on the conversion table into the control parameter corresponding to the printer 15, and outputs it. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
