PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an underground pipe connection joint that is superior in waterproofness and quake resistance and makes it possible to perform the operation of leading in an electric wire or the like with no difficulty. SOLUTION: A fixing portion 4A buried in a wall portion 1a of an underground box 1 is provided on the inner end side of the flexible joint body 4 of an underground pipe connection joint 3. A connecting portion 4B to which the connection end of an underground pipe 2 is provided on the outer end side of the joint body 4 corresponding to the external side of the underground box 1. A bellmouth 5 whose inner end-side inner circumferential surface corresponding to the internal side of the underground box 1 is formed substantially in the shape of bugle as viewed from the side is inserted into the fixing portion 4A and fixed on its inner circumferential surface. The connecting portion 4B is so provided that it can be elongated and contracted to any length between bent state and pulled-out state. In the bent state, the connecting portion 4B is opposed to the inner circumferential surface of the fixing portion 4A. In the pulled-out state, the connecting portion 4B is protruded outward of the outer end-side peripheral portion of the fixing portion 4A. The inner end-side peripheral portion of the connecting portion 4B bent so that it is opposed to the inner circumferential surface of the fixing portion 4A is abutted against the outer end-side peripheral portion of the bellmouth 5. Thus, the connection end of the connecting portion 4B is controlled and kept in a state in which it is protruded by a predetermined length outward of the outer end-side peripheral portion of the fixing portion 4A.
