PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a portable communication terminal device to communicate its own position without being affected by conducted power-off operations in a state of emergency. SOLUTION: A CPU 101 determines whether the portable communication terminal device 1 is in a mode of emergency when power-off operations are conducted. If it is in the mode of emergency, power supply feed to input/output parts of displays 108 and 109, key operating part 110, an informing part 111 and the like constituting the portable communication terminal device 1 is stopped except a telephone communication section 105 in order to make its position informing function operable. In this way, even after conducting power-off operations, the portable communication terminal device 1 can communicate its own position and can be utilized as a strong means at the time of criminal investigation by tracking locations.
