PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a television apparatus wherein a display apparatus can be downsized, number of constrains of an installed place of the television apparatus is small, a degree of design freedom can be ensured, and improvement of fine view is advantageous. SOLUTION: The television apparatus 10 includes the display apparatus 12 with a low profile, a stand 20 for supporting the display apparatus 12, and a signal processing section 70A. The stand 20 is configured with a placing part 21, a lower turning part 22A turnably connected to the placing part 21, and an upper turning part 22B provided on the lower turning part 22A and at a tip of which the display apparatus 12 is supported. A turning unit 22 houses the signal processing section 70A for displaying an image on a display play panel 1202 of the television apparatus 10 on the basis of a radio wave received from a broadcast station or a video signal and an audio signal supplied from an external device.
