PURPOSE:To facilitate switching of a developing device by oscillating two pieces of developing devices, allowing one developing device to oppose an image carrying body, and transferring the power of a body side. CONSTITUTION:A rotary shaft of each developing sleeve 111A, 111B is projected to the back of a plate 10A, and also, gears G5A, G5B are fixed to the rotary shaft, respectively, and by an oscillating action of a developing device 10 whose shaft 10C is a supporting point, one of the gears G5A, G5B is engaged to a driving gear G4 connected through an intermittable clutch to a driving system of a copying machine main body. Also, each developing device is constituted so that stirring members 112A, 112B are brought to a rotational operation by interlocking with each developing sleeve, therefore, when the gear G5A or the gear G5B is engaged to the driving gear G4 and the clutch is connected, power of a driving system of the copying machine main body is transferred to a developing device 11A or 11B. In such a way, the function is surely switched a simple operation. |
