<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively cool electronic components in a disk drive without upsizing the disk drive. <P>SOLUTION: This disk drive has a housing, a motor for rotating a disk, a circuit board and a mechanical base, and also has a passage formed between a side face of the housing and a side face of the mechanical base. The passage is connected to an air hole. A fan for exhausting air from the passage is provided. A heat radiating member is attached to the bottom face of a motor.
