<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric connection box incorporating a multipoint-contact card-edge connector using a connection method with high reliability without relying on soldering. <P>SOLUTION: The multipoint-contact card edge connector 1 has a plurality of terminals 3 mounted on a connector housing 2, each provided with an insulation displacement part 5 having a notched part 4 at the tip of the corresponding terminal 3, a substrate 6 is pressure contacted with the notched parts 4. Each terminal 3 has a plurality of convex parts to come in multipoint contact with the substrate 6, so that, even in case the electric connection box incorporating the multipoint-contact card edge connector is applied for an automobile, its mechanical reliability can be improved without risk of break of electric connection between the terminals 3 and the substrate 6 due to vibration of the automobile. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
