PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for inspecting a core wire of an electric wire end that reliably inspects a defective wire of a core wire exposed at the electric wire end. SOLUTION: This core wire inspection device 100 rotates a device main body 10 with a built-in laser light radiating means around the axial line of the core wire 2 by a first rotating means 30 and, rotates the core wire 2 around its axial line in the reverse direction by a second rotating means 40. Consequently, laser light can be radiated to the core wire 2 from various directions so that whether any defective wire is included in the core wire 2 can reliably be inspected.
