PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pump guide mechanism for a submerged pump facilitating attaching/detaching work even when a guide pipe requiring maintenance or the like is at the lowermost end. SOLUTION: The guide pipe 20 is formed as a divided type guide pipe comprising an upper guide pipe 21 and a lower guide pipe 22 divided in a vertical direction, and the upper end of the lower guide pipe 22 is provided with a fit-in shaft member 23 fitted in a vertically slidable manner into the lower end of the upper guide pipe 21. In the contracted state of the upper guide pipe 21 and lower guide pipe 22, the fit-in shaft member 23 is detachably insertable between an upper downward fitting boss part 10b and a lower upward fitting boss part 11. In the extended state of the upper guide pipe 21 and lower guide pipe 22, the downward fitting boss part 10b is fitted into the upper end of the upper guide pipe 21, while the upward fitting boss part 11 is fitted into the lower end of the lower guide pipe 22, and a spacer body 24 is provided to be detachably mounted to the fit-in shaft member 23.
