[PROBLEMS] To provide a mobile communication terminal having the broadcast reception function capable of preventing generation of a sound upon start of the TV function when the telephone is set to the silent mode. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] A CPU (1) judges that the television silent mode is set when the telephone silent mode is set in the television view state. Similarly, when the television function start key is turned ON while the telephone silent mode is set, the CPU (1) judges that the television silent mode is set. When the CPU (1) judges that the television silent mode is set, it mutes the television sound.
