A front door latch for preventing a jam is provided to improve convenience of a user by changing the front door latch into an unlocking state even in jam phenomenon, thereby preventing a door locking effect due to the jam. An outside handle link unit(10) includes a first link(14) connected to a first supporting shaft(12) installed on a supporting plate(3) and a supporting pin(4) formed at an end of an outside handle lever(26), and a second link(16) engaged with the first link. A lock link lever(20) is engaged with the outside handle link unit. A lock lever(30) is connected to the lock link lever and includes a long hole part(32). A lever unit(40) is connected to the lock lever and is connected to a lock knob switch installed at a door. A latch lever(50) is positioned at an operating track of the outside handle link unit. One end of the latch lever is rotatably installed at a lower part of the supporting plate. A latch(52) is formed at the other end of the latch lever. A return spring(60) is coupled with the lock link lever and the lock lever to provide return force for moving the lock lever into an unlocking position when jam phenomenon occurs at the door latch.
