PURPOSE:To make it possible to continue practicing a program process during the jam treatment and jam indication by interrupting the copying operation, and concurrently, holding the DC electric power in a control circuit for a predetermined period of time when transport jamming takes place. CONSTITUTION:Control circuit 58 is the central program control circuit wherein output is delivered in the direction of the arrow in response to the input signal in the direction of the arrow, or to the inner program data. Jam counter 56 is mechanical counter which counts the number of paper jammed per jamming. Jam solenoid 57 couples reset switch 59 with NO terminal when jamming takes place, and consequently, the reset switch 59 is mechanically locked at the side of NO. In this state, the copying process will not start regardless of electric power input. In addition, after jamming, timer 60 which holds DC power to the control circuit 58 for the predetermined period of time interrupts the DC power after the lapse of the predetermined period. Thus, although jamming occurs, DC power is held for the predetermined period, hence the indication of jamming, etc. can continue. |
